Bird Feeders

Yesterday B asked if we could build a bird feeder. I told him that would be a good Saturday project. I know when he asked to build a bird feeder he was thinking boards, nails, hammer, seeds, all day, etc... However, I was thinking, pine cone, peanut butter, knife, plate, seeds, 15 minutes. Here are some pictures of our project. We have one hanging from a tree and one hanging on the fence. As I was getting supplies ready B asked, "Why do we need peanut butter and a plate?" When we were finished B said, "That's all, that wasn't very long." He had fun despite our different ideas on how to build a bird feeder.
