A State of A Fair

(at least I think that's this year's slogan)

We picked B up from school on Friday and headed to the Great State Fair. We had a wonderful 6 hours and still didn't do everything we wanted to do. It wasn't too crowded since we went during a work day, the weather was cool and without rain. We ate some greasy food, watched the pig races, saw a dog being spade, the boys rode some tractors, they also rode some fair rides (the kind that travel by semi and are assembled and disassembled every few days), and we crawled around in cars we can't afford (Mase wanted to buy a minivan). We spent a small fortune and have nothing to show for it but a few extra pounds.

I always had to ride the ride if Mase was too short.

This is Austin waiting.

This was a roller coaster that B was barely tall enough to ride. Mase threw a screaming fit that he couldn't ride it. I'm talking real tears, laying on the nasty ground, screaming fit. B looked great right at first, but I'm not sure how much he really liked it after the first 'hill'.

Waiting for us to ride a fantastic (read with sarcasm) train.

I love your sarcastic fantastic train comment. These are my exact sentiments about lots of those rides at the Fair. Gag.
